- Grind leftover rice to a paste by adding 1/2 cup water.
- Transfer it to a bowl and add rava, mix well by adding water. Then add idli batter(I order to give the texture).
- Leave the batter for 10 mins.
- Season Mustard, cumin and curry leaves in oil. Add the seasoning to the batter.
- Fry the batter in kuzhi paniyaram pan/ appe pan. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
So before making these, make sure you have taken out the batter from the fridge ahead of time and brought to room temperature. If made with cold batter then they will cook unevenly or may stay raw.
