  2. Once the udad dal is soaked for 6 to 7 hours strain the excess water and add dal in mixi jar and churn it to make thick paste (avoid adding water for making paste as much as possible)

  5. Once the batter is ready heat oil in wok fry the vada at slow to medium flame and then add them in room temperature water (don’t use chit/ warm water) and don’t press the vada
  6. Let the vada rest in water, the vada will sink in water after some time,which indicates it is ready to be taken out but never squeeze vada
  7. Mithi chutney
  8. In a pan take Amchur powder,add water in it and mix properly till lumps dissolved now add Kashmiri red chilli powder,fennel seed and jaggery and cook it on slow flame for around 7 mins or till jaggery dissolve,set it aside for cooling
  9. Green chutney
  10. In mixi jar take green coriander leaves,roasted chana,one spoon dahi,salt,green chilli and churn it to make green chutney
  11. Preparing dahi
  12. In one cup dahi add powdered sugar,rock salt and add little bit of water to make thick lassi consistency curd
  13. Assembling
  14. In bowl take vada pour dahi on it add mithi chutney green chutney sprinkle chat masala,roasted jeera powder,chilli powder and some pomegranate seeds
